Coach crash riddle

Investigations are continuing into the incident in which a coach crashed through a wall on to the roof of a house.

It happened at around 7:10pm last night (Mon) after the ProTours vehicle seemingly rolled out of the depot and across Summerhill Road, before coming to rest on the roof of the property below at 1 Strathallan Crescent.

The building suffered extensive damage to its roof, but there were no injuries.

Sergeant Gary Heaton of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team says it's still not clear how the coach came to roll out of the parking area:
