The company planning to redevelop an 18th century house in Douglas is declining to comment after a campaign was launched to save the property.

South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey has launched a petition to save Farmhill Manor, which was converted in the 18th century from a Manx farmhouse dating back to 1430.

Heritage Homes, which is attempting to have it removed from the protected buildings register in order to redevelop it, says it has no comment to make.
