Hospice plaque

by isleofman.com 9th October 2007
A plaque will be unveiled at the new Hospice this morning (Tues 9th Oct) - to mark a major benefactor's donation which has helped make the facility a reality.

?750,000 pounds was left by the late Guy Barratt to the Mighty Oak campaign, which raised funds to build a replacement for St Bridget's hospice.

A plaque ceremony in honour of that donation takes place at 11 this morning.

Mr Barratt's family will be special guests - along with key figures from the Mighty Oak campaign - Sir Miles and Lady Walker and Sara Palmer, who's flying in for the occasion.
