Comments sought on square traffic

by isleofman.com 8th October 2007
'Use your website' is the message to Castletown ratepayers from the town’s commissioners!

They want to stimulate debate on any issues, particularly parking and traffic flow in the town square, and around the Smelt memorial.

Although changes have been in place for a number of years, the majority of the board feels there is still some confusion and it’s time to re-assess the situation.

Commissioner Tony Mansell, with the support of his colleagues, is calling on ratepayers and the wider public, including drivers of delivery vehicles, emergency services staff, taxi drivers, disabled users, cyclists and pedestrians, to register their views via the local authority's website (castletown.org.im).
