New bishop by next summer?

The process of finding a new Bishop of Sodor and Mann is well underway, but it's likely to be next summer before we see an appointment.

The last bishop, Graeme Knowles, left the Island last month to take up his new role as Dean of St Paul's Cathedral in London.

The Archdeacon of the Isle of Man, the Venerable Brian Smith, says moves to replace Bishop Knowles started at virtually the same time as it was announced he would be leaving:
