Acting Chief pleased with stats

by isleofman.com 8th October 2007
The Acting Chief Constable of the Isle of Man says he's very pleased at the latest crime figures for the Island.

Crime overall fell 16% in the six months ending September - with domestic burglaries at the lowest level in a decade, deception offences down 63% and domestic assaults down 38%.

Mike Langdon says the reduction in crime is welcome, but he stresses that this is down to a good relationship between police officers and members of the public, not just police on their own:
