Head to receive award in London

The cultural and charitable efforts of Foxdale School will be rewarded at an awards ceremony next week.

Headteacher, Stuart Lambie, MBE, will be presented with an International School Award by BBC broadcaster George Alagiah in London, along with around 450 others.

In the last few years, Foxdale has been twinned with a school in Uganda and as a result of a programme it produced with Manx Radio, it was visited by the Archbishop of York.

Mr Lambie says the award is a real feather in the school's cap:
