by isleofman.com 4th October 2007
A familiar face from past years, behind the bar of one of the South's best known pubs, has died.

John William 'Billy' Williams was the publican at the Albert Hotel in Port St. Mary for many years, going back to the time when tourism was king in the Island. He was 85.

His funeral will be on Monday at St Mary's Church in the village at 2pm, followed by interment at Rushen.
