Health Minister Eddie Teare has welcomed the opening of the new Manx Workshop for the Disabled.
Following protracted negotiations, including a Tynwald debate, the DHSS agreed to cover the cost of refurbishing the premises, at the old Noble's Hospital.
It meant the jobs of the 15-strong disabled workforce were saved.
