Dumfries and Galloway Police is appealing to the Manx public in its efforts to identify the body of a woman.

It was recovered from Port Logan beach near Stranraer on November the 22nd last year.

The force has sent two computerised reconstructions of the woman's face and it's thought to be the first time this type of image has been issued to the Island's media.

At the time of the discovery she was wearing size 10 black "BAY" trousers, white knickers, a size 34C "BHS" bra and tan coloured tights.

Anyone with information should contact Dumfries and Galloway Police on 0845 600 5701 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
