Hospice 'post-graduate'

On Mandate each morning this week, we've been talking to some of the patients and staff who are looking forward to the new hospice opening in Braddan over the course of the next few weeks.

One patient - who describes herself as a hospice 'post-graduate', says that the entire support system within the organisation makes a huge difference to people forced to cope with the reality of a life-threatening illness.

Nicky Watterson (pictured) says it's hard to describe what she calls 'the big picture' to non-sufferers:
