Festival of Manx Connections

The Villa Marina's Promenade Suite will play host to a multicultural exhibition of displays, music, dance, film and photography this weekend.

The One World Centre has organised the Festival of Manx Connections to highlight the international aid work done by Manx charities.

The event, which is being sponsored by the H & S Davidson Trust, is open to the public between 3:30 and 6:00 on Friday afternoon and 10am to 6pm on Saturday.

The OWC's Cheryl Cousins thinks few people realise just how many Island based charities are operating in places like Eastern Europe, Africa and South East Asia:
