Victim Support seeks volunteers

Victim Support Isle of Man's volunteer recruitment drive ends on Monday and the charity is urging more people to get involved, especially those who have already downloaded forms but haven't returned them.

It wants to recruit around 20 individuals, available during the working day, who would have the option of working in the areas of witness or victim support.

Manager of Victim Support Isle of Man, Paula Gelling (pictured), says anyone can volunteer and no formal qualifications are needed.

However, a candidate would need to be a good listener, patient and of good character.

She says being involved with the charity is a fantastic experience:
