Witness appeal after violent incident

Police in the north of the Island are appealing for information about a violent incident which resulted in two men being taken to Noble's Hospital with head injuries.

It happened around 7.25pm yesterday, at Ballaugh Cronk.

One of the men involved in the disturbance satyed at the scene, and the the other is believed to have driven off in a blue Audi A3 car, which was found close by later on.

Both the injured men are in their 20s, with one from Ramsey and the other from Onchan.

Detective Inspector Kevin Willson says they may also have been involved in a disturbance in a flat in Ballure Road, Ramsey prior to the incident in Ballaugh.

He would like anyone who saw a bright coloured Audi A3 hatchback being driven in the Ramsey or Ballaugh areas yesterday evening to get in touch. The registration number of the car is EMN 858X.

DI Wilson says the two men knew each other and there is no risk to other members of the public
