Douglas in Bloom

The leader of Douglas Council has congratulated all involved in the town’s Britain in Bloom success.

For the second successive year, the Island’s capital has won a silver achievement award in the large towns and small cities section of the contest.

The award was presented at Wednesday night’s awards ceremony in Coventry Cathedral.

David Christian says it’s a proud accolade but says one particular area for improvement was highlighted by the judges:
