Katy is on her way to Washington

by isleofman.com 24th September 2007
A Year 8 pupil from Queen Elizabeth the Second High School will get a taste of what it's like to rule the world next spring.

Katy Radcliffe has been accepted for the People to People World Leadership Forum in Washington D.C. in April 2008.

The Glen Vine student was nominated based on her academic and community efforts, and her travel is being sponsored by the Steam Packet Company.

The People to People Student Leader programmes were developed to fulfil former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower's vision to foster world citizenship.
