Bishop leaves today

by isleofman.com 24th September 2007
The Lord Bishop leaves the Isle of Man today (Mon).

He preached for the last time during choral evensong at Malew Church yesterday afternoon (Sun), in a service attended by the President of Tynwald, the Chief Minister and the Speaker of the House of Keys, plus the Deputy Governor and various other MHK's and church members from around the Island

In his final sermon, the Right Reverend Graeme Knowles dwelled on the exercise of power not just by the clergy, but also in politics:

Bishop Knowles will be installed as the Dean of St Paul's Cathedral, London on October 1st.
