Peel conservation area

Peel Commissioners have been told the Department of Local Government will look at plans to reduce the size of the town's conservation area.

Earlier this month, Rodger Gimbert told Manx Radio there wasn't cash available to look after it properly, yet more locations were being added to it.

But Mr Gimbert says he's been approached by DOLGE Minister John Shimmin who has said the Conservation officer will look at the Commissioner's suggestions.

He says they will then start public consultation:
