Belfast sailing turns back

by isleofman.com 23rd September 2007
The Superseacat turned back while enroute to Belfast this morning (Sunday), after an engine failed.

The Steam Packet says the Master also took the weather conditions into account when turning the vessel around.

It is in the process of arranging an alternative sailing for those able to travel via Stranraer in Scotland. Passengers may be transferred from Douglas by the Ben-my-Chree to Heysham, and then by coach.

The company is apologising for any inconvenience caused.
