Airport security paramount

Extra security checks at Isle of Man Airport have become routine - and most passengers accept the need for a short delay.

That's the verdict of Airport Duty Officer at Ronaldsway Dave Berry - who has a wide-ranging trouble-shooting role, helping the airlines, staff and customers.

Long queues built up at airport security in the aftermath of the firebombing at Glasgow Airport in the summer - but things have eased since then, as the public became familiar with the regime.
