Bone marrow transplant fails

A 19 year-old leukaemia sufferer is vowing to continue as normally as possible, despite the failure of a bone marrow transplant.

Stuart Briggs lives in England but his family has Manx connections and his father regularly works in the Island.

Last year, the search to find a suitable match moved here and there was a superb response from the Manx public.

Shortly afterwards, a bone marrow match was found in America but the transplant was not a success.

Stuart says the search is continuing:
