Walking Festival next month

Hoards of ramblers will be visiting this Island this October, to take part in this years Walking Festival.

The event will take place from the 11th to the 14th of October and hopes to bring boost the Island's quiet winter tourist season.

The festival will feature three days of walking and entertainment, which will be hosted at the Cherry Orchard hotel.

Event co-ordinator Mick Salmon is hoping for a good weekend and plenty of walkers taking part:
