by isleofman.com 18th September 2007
Ramsey Rowing Club is progressing plans for a new boathouse.

A proposal for a 60ft building is being put forward, with an eye to occupying the old Talk of the Town site.

The location would be ideal for the club, with the Mooragh lake a short distance away.

The area is currently being used as a dinghy park.

Director of Harbours Mike Brew has acknowledged that the renovation of the site would be a positive development.
