Battle of Britain commemorated

by isleofman.com 14th September 2007
The Isle of Man's annual commemoration of the Battle of Britain begins this evening.

A concert at All Saints' Church in Douglas will raise money for the Royal Air Force.

It starts at 8pm.

The annual service will be at the same venue this Sunday, from 11am.

It will be taken by the Bishop, with lessons read by the Lieutenant Governer and former Archdeacon, the Venerable Brian Partington.

There will be music from Castletown Metropolitan Silver Band at both events.
