by isleofman.com 14th September 2007
A new vicar is to be inducted into his parish in a service led by The Lord Bishop this evening (Fri 14th).

The Reverend Nigel Godfrey will take up his post at the Cathedral Church of St German in Peel following the ceremony.

The Reverend Godfrey was born on the Isle of Man, and attended both Marown School and King William's College.

He is currently in the final stages of a doctorate at Kings College London, researching the spiritual formation of ordinands.

He has previously worked within the Diocese of Southwark, South London and as vicar of Christ Church, Brixton, and says he's very much looking forward to working on the Island.
