Tourism boost

The Isle of Man's tourism will hope to benefit from a promotional campaign at a number of high profile events in England this Winter.

The Department of Tourism and Leisure launched their promotional programme at the Southport Flower Show, where they created an eye catching garden display which represented the Island's ruggedness.

The DTL will also have exhibitions at the BBC's Good Food show in November, and the Ordnance Survey outdoors show in March.

DTL representative Dave Fallows hopes the promotional campaign will attract tourists over during the quieter winter months:
