A motorist was killed in an accident on the main Peel Road last night (Mon 10th).
The 28 year old man, who hasn't yet been named, died after losing control of his blue Mitsubishi car on the Ballahutchin near to Ballavagher house at around 9.15pm.
The car was travelling towards Douglas at the time, and no other vehicles were involved.
Police closed the road for around five hours while they dealt with the incident.
They're appealing for anyone with information on the car, or who may have seen it prior to the accident, to get in touch with them.
