DoLGE sponsors student

by isleofman.com 11th September 2007
A postgraduate student from Peel is to benefit from sponsorship from the Department of Local Government and the Environment.

Kristian Cowin is about to start a masters degree in Environmental Health at Birmingham University and has been gaining practical experience in DoLGE's Environment Safety and Health Directorate.

The directorate will sponsor Kristian throughout his studies and provide him with work during his holiday periods.

He says he feels very lucky to have been given this opportunity in the Isle of Man as similar placements in the UK are very difficult to come by.
