Archbishop visits Island

The Archbishop of York has been in the Isle of Man today on a brief visit.

Dr John Sentamu is heading the search for a new Bishop for the Island and today he held informal meetings with the local clergy he will work with on that key appointment.

He also met the Lieutenant Governor, the Speaker of the House of Keys and the President of Tynwald.

While he was here Dr Sentamu, who grew up in Uganda, fulfilled a promise to visit Foxdale School, where youngsters are working on a project to help a primary school in his home country.

While talking to the children he was asked what had been his key to success (audio file attached):
