Brown 'positive' after meeting

by isleofman.com 7th September 2007
Chief Minister Tony Brown says his first Inter-Island meeting, with counterparts from the Channel Islands, was 'very positive and helpful'.

The annual gathering of the British Crown Dependencies, held in Jersey this week, is a forum for discussion and cooperative work on issues of mutual interest.

This year's agenda included development of the islands' international identities, immigration and passports, international financial issues and relationships with international organisations.

Mr Brown (pictured) says delegates discussed a number of matters which can be taken forward, and found it to be a very positive experience.
