by isleofman.com 6th September 2007
Two men have appeared before the Deputy High Bailiff charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent on Joseph McCabe.

Forty-three year old Marcus McCormack, of North View, Peel and 24 year old Mark Anthony Quirk, of Castlemona Avenue, Douglas have been remanded in custody until October 2.

Inspector Richard Power, prosecuting, said Mr McCabe had died and the prosecution was taking advice from the Attorney General on whether a further charge was to be preferred.

Appearing with the two men was 41 year old Sandra Rose Quirk, whose address was given as care of David Gray House.

She is charged with performing an act against public justice and was bailed until October 2.
