Drugs seized in Port Erin

by isleofman.com 6th September 2007
A large quantity of Class A drugs have been recovered by police officers with the Southern Neighbourhood policing team.

The drugs were found after officers executed a search warrant at an address in Port Erin last Friday (31st).

A man from Liverpool was arrested and later charged with offences.

Sergeant Ged Power says it was an intelligence-led police operation, and officers will always take strong action against drug abuse in the south of the Island in order to remove drugs from the neighbourhood.
