Appeal for volunteers

Isle of Man Victim support needs up to 20 more volunteers.

The service provides practical and emotional support for both victims of crime and those called-on to give evidence in court cases.

However, the organisation's workload has almost doubled in recent years, and more assistance is required to maintain services

Victim Support Manager in the Island, Paula Gelling, says full training is provided and no one will be thrown in at the deep end:
