Lifeline for horse riders

Horse riders who had hoped to qualify for this year’s Royal London Show have been offered a lifeline by organisers.

The Royal Manx Agricultural Show, called off during the recent foot and mouth scare in the United Kingdom, acts as the Island’s qualifying event for the prestigious tournament.

With its cancellation, it seemed as though nobody would progress from the Island this year, but organisers in London now say anybody from the Island can enter any event without qualifying.
