Farmers' market returns to Douglas

The return of the farmers' market at the Villa Marina Colonnade is fantastic news, according to the co-ordinator of the 'I Love Manx' campaign.

Ffinlo Costain believes such events play a vital part in securing the future of the Island's agriculture industry, by putting farmers in direct contact with their customers and finding out what products they want.

The market, cancelled last month because of the United Kingdom foot and mouth scare, will be held from 10am until 2pm on Saturday.

Mr Costain (pictured) is hoping it will be as successful as the first one, in July:
