Farmers' market returns to Douglas

The new farmers' market at the Villa Marina Colonnade resumes this Saturday, September 1st, from 10am.

The event has only been held once so far, after being cancelled last month due to the foot and mouth outbreak in the United Kingdom.

'I Love Manx' campaign co-ordinator, Ffinlo Costain (pictured), has described its return as "fantastic news".

He believes the markets play a vital part in securing the future of Manx farming:
