by isleofman.com 29th August 2007
Shane Connor is said to be in a serious but stable condition, after an accident in this afternoon's Manx Grand Prix Junior race.

The Irish rider crashed at Alpine, between Kirk Michael and Ballaugh and was taken to Noble's Hospital by "Air Med" helicopter.

A section of course was closed for some time while the emergency services and MGP organisers dealt with the incident.
