Beachwatch volunteers needed

A UK conservation charity wants Island residents to get involved in a major survey and cleanup of British beaches.

The Marine Conservation Society's annual Beachwatch project is taking place over the weekend of the 15th and 16th of September.

Last year, over 4200 volunteers took part, working on 350 British beaches and collecting 3000 bags of litter.

MCS's Litter Project Coordinator, Emma Snowden, says anyone is welcome to get involved:
