Fatal crash - driver named

The young man who lost his life in a car accident in Foxdale this weekend has been named as Christopher James Oates.

The 21-year old, who lived at Anagh Coar in Douglas, was driving a white Vauxhall Corsa when it left the Archallagan Road at around 2am on Saturday.

Two people with him escaped with minor injuries.

Police have appealed for anyone who can help clarify the movements of the car in the early hours of Saturday, to contact them.
