Fatal crash inquiries continue

Inquiries are continuing into events which led to a young man losing his life behind the wheel of a car in Foxdale this weekend.

The victim, who was 20, is thought to have died instantly when the white Vauxhall Corsa he was driving left the Archallagan Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It's understood the car left the road and crashed into trees - no other vehicles were involved.

Inspector Derek Flint from the Roads Policing Unit says there may have been no wintesses to the accident.

But he wants to hear from drivers who saw the car in the hours before the tragedy (audio file attached):
