by isleofman.com 28th August 2007
A man who received serious injuries in an incident in Peel earlier this month has died.

57 year old Joseph McCabe passed away in a hospital in the UK yesterday (Thurs).

He was injured at a house in North View, Peel on 12th August.

Three people appeared before the High Bailiff last Thursday (16th) in relation to the incident.

Police enquiries are ongoing and they are now treating the case as a suspicious death. Their investigation involves a group of people at the house who all knew each other, and officers say no-one else is being sought as a suspect.

However, an appeal for witnesses to the incident, which occurred at the house in North View, Peel, at around 10.05pm on Sunday 12th of August, has been renewed.

Anyone with information should contact police headquarters on 631 212 or use Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111

No further information on the incident is being released at this time.
