Minister reassured by arrests

Home Affairs Minister Martyn Quayle is surprised at the amount of people who've been caught breaking the rules of the road by unmarked police cars in the last three weeks.

Head of the Roads Policing Unit, Inspector Derek Flint, has expressed his dismay that over 100 people have been caught by the vehicles since their introduction at the end of July.

But Mr Quayle thinks it's reassuring that people are being targeted for things like not wearing seatbelts and driving while using their mobile phones:
