A-level pass rate at 96.1 per cent!

Students in the Island have achieved a record number of A and B grades at A-level.

Today’s (Thursday) provisional A-level results show there were more than 500 of the top two grades recorded.

In the five secondary schools, a record 330 Year 13 students sat A and AS level examinations, in 37 subjects.

Students were entered for a total of 1,380 A and AS levels.

The Island’s A level pass rate was 96.1 per cent, the third highest ever achieved.
