Study of retail industry nearly complete

The release of a study of the state of the Manx retailing industry is on the cards, which looks at how it affects the whole service sector of the Island's economy.

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce retail committee, Steve Bradley, is eagerly anticipating the findings of the review, which is being carried out by an independent body.

The Council of Ministers says the work is 'near completion'.

Mr Bradley believes the findings could indicate whether or not a change of direction is needed (audio file attached):
