Good listening figures for the 'National Station'

The method used by much of the radio industry, RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research Limited) to gauge the popularity of radio stations has shown listening growth right across the board for Manx Radio.

The system involves a so called 'diary system' where a randomly chosen cross-section of people record, over a period, who they are listening to, how often and when.

Manx Radio business director, John Marsom, says the figures make enjoyable reading for the national broadcaster (audio file attached:)
