E-gaming concerns for National Lottery

It's feared a decision to allow the Isle of Man to continue advertising its e-gaming industry in the United Kingdom may have an adverse effect on the National Lottery.

The concerns have been expressed by the London-based Council for the Advancement of Arts, Recreation and Education, after the UK government created a 'white-list' for firms outside of the EU.

Campaign manager, Rob Burlison, says people may be encouraged to gamble rather than play the lottery.

He says lottery funding is essential to the UK (audio file attached):
