MGP media officer, Geoff Cannell (pictured), and racing team boss Martin Bullock have welcomed the decision to allow the 2007 Manx Grand Prix to go ahead.

Both spoke to Manx Radio after Wednesday's announcement.

Theo Fleurbaay, chairman of the Manx Hospitality Partnership, said the decision of Allan Bell and the Council of Ministers was a ‘wise one’ and thanked Tourism Minister Adrian Earnshaw and officials for their co-operation and contribution in arguing the tourism industry’s case.
