Lack of Douglas office space

The lack of high quality office property in Douglas COULD cap the Isle of Man's economic growth, according to the Treasury Minister.

Allan Bell (pictured) says the recent planning appeal decision to allow an approved commercial development on Circular Road to be changed to residential use was a little surprising.

The Minister says the long lead time in building new office premises means that we should be addressing the problem sooner rather than later:
