DTI Minister meets Strix staff

Staff at Strix met with the Minister of Trade and Industry yesterday (Tues) to discuss alternative employment in the Island.

60 workers were made redundant on Friday, when it was announced the work was being transferred to China.

Mr Cretney says almost 600 vacancies were registered with the JobCentre in July.

He says his department will continue to offer support to those affected by the cuts:
