Mixed response to restrictions

There's been a mixed reponse to the range of restrictions imposed following the foot and mouth outbreak in southern England.

Many people are wholeheartedly supporting the closure of parts of the countryside and the cancellation of some events, such as the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.

But according to Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne, he's heard reports of people tearing down notices and ripping up signs.

He says this may influence decisions relating to the running of events such as the Manx Grand Prix (audio file attached):
